“Big Brother 17” spoilers are in and it appears that BB17 production have tried to manipulate the game in order to make sure that professional poker player Vanessa wins. It may have worked better, except that Liz didn’t understand the clues that production gave her when she was competing in the second part of the final Head of Household challenge. Do you think “Big Brother 17” is capable of rigging the game to ensure their favorite takes home the victory?
After Liz and Steve came inside after the second installment of the final Head of Household challenge, Liz told Steve that production was helping her with one of the questions. Liz told Steve that producers told her the answer to one of the questions was in the week she was the HoH, during the first few weeks of the season. Liz still didn’t answer the question correctly, but this piece of information infuriated Steve.
Steve finally realized what many fans have seen as well – that TPTB at “Big Brother” wanted Liz to win the final HOH comp, part 2, to ensure that Vanessa won the season. Is it possible that BB17 knew that if Liz won final HOH, she would take Vanessa to the final two? That would essentially lock in a season win for Vanessa, wouldn’t it? The problem is that with Steve winning round 2 of the final HOH there is a serious possibility that he could beat Vanessa in the playoff round for final HOH and take Liz to final 2, ruining the Vanessa fixed win that appears to be the goal of BB17 producers.
If Steve wins the final round of the Head of Household, he told the live feed fans that he planned on voting out Vanessa. He said he will not be Cody from last season – and referred to Vanessa as Derrick. Steve seems to be a great young adult with a good head on his shoulders. It seems like he has finally figured out that Vanessa has been using him (and everyone else) all along. Now, the question is, does Steve have the strength to vote out Vanessa – making her the last jury member?
CDL reported last week that the game was allegedly rigged in Vanessa’s favor. She has a CBS TV show, “Poker Face” set to air later in fall. TPTB wanted to secure a win for her in order to help promote her show. Is it possible that the show isn’t un-scripted reality TV anymore? The casting director used more recruited players than ever before – ten out of 16 players. The recruited players – Liz and Vanessa- could have been coached prior to going into the house.
Steve voiced his disgust with the possibility of production assisting Liz in a challenge. He began to think about all the times when Vanessa had won when her back was against the wall in the house. Steve said out loud at one point, “Could production want her to win?” The short answer to that is, yes.
Fans have questioned if the game was rigged more often this year than in previous years. In fact, many fans on social media say they wouldn’t put it past Allison Grodner to fix a winner in order to secure another contract as executive producer of “Big Brother” next summer. Do you believe that production helped Liz during the competition? Do you think TPTB attempted to rig the game for Vanessa to win?

I totally believe this season is rigged.
ReplyDeletei have 0% doubt that this season wasn't rigged. She should have been kicked out weeks ago but still managed to stay. It is crap. Big Brother is loosing fans. They need to cut it out and get back to how it really should be,
ReplyDeleteWhen there are so many thousands of people auditioning for 16 spots on this show -- why do they need to "recruit"?
ReplyDeleteI THINK THIS IS TERRIBLE AND I FOR 1 WILL NOT BE WATCHING HER NEW SHOW,, CBS HAS STOOPED TO A NEW LOW OF STANDARDS,, SHE REALLY DOESN`T NEED THE MONEY AS BAD AS JAMES AND SOME OF THE OTHERS DID. CBS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES.. IF THEY WOULD DO THIS WITH BIG BROTHER,, WHAT OTHER REALITY SHOWS DID THEY RIG,, SURVIVOR,, THE RACE..
ReplyDeleteI do believe this show has been rigged to some extent for a few years now. I don't see how Julie Chen & her husband do not see this unless they are a part of it. She says he & she watch the show & they are both very intelligent so I know they see it too, but then again if it helps line their pockets then they is why they stay silent or even encourage it. They should fire their production team & hire a new team if they want a legitimate show that is not cheating other contestant out of winning money. The whole thing about recruits makes me sick, so many people try out for the show each year but because they might not be attractive or have fake boobs or what they think is interesting then they go out & seek people. Why not get real people & stop telling them what they can talk about & not talk about....Just give it time & they will not be able to disclose if they are fans, recruits or how they got on the show. If enough outrage over it, they will stop telling viewers. The show has went down hill over the years & lost a lot of loyal viewers but gained new ones who do not know how the show was in the beginning. Plus people are so interested in everyone else's lives that is why social media is such a hit, people get to see in other's lives.
ReplyDeleteYes I believe it was rigged for Vanessa to win and I hope that Steve wins and takes the money and uses it for his education. Vanessa will be making all that money from her new show and she has a house in Vegas. Come on, I won't watch next year if she wins :(
ReplyDeleteWhy in the world would people keep in a couple,, and the couple has a twin sister,, you know that no matter what the vote are going to be onto those people and you lose out, so why keep the twins and Austin in for so long,, why was the house all gung ho to accept in a twin sister,, knowing that they will have each others back... makes no sense at all...
ReplyDeleteI believe this year was rigged more than any other year. I never understood why the change of evictions on the eviction night. The houseguest would talk one name the whole week who they were going to evict and then change it. But not one all. I found that to be very strange. If the show is going to be so obvious on being rigged they are to lose a viewer.
ReplyDeleteAnyone BB fan that has seriously watched this show from the beginning knows at least three things, you don't keep a showmance, you split up twins, and you evict the strongest in competitions, all three come with an unfair advantage in he game. As soon as the HGs knew there was a twin coming in and didnt try to split them up we knew it was rigged. And to have one person so obviously taking part in every eviction and telling everyone else who to nominate for eviction it was an insult to the fans who are a lot smarter than CBS thinks. I realize it is all done for ratings, just stop making it so obvious.
ReplyDeleteI ABSOLUTELY do believe it was rig.Especially how Jame's side was all voted out in a row.ONE by ONE!!!It's very disgusting that they would do that!!!I REALLY hate Vanessa TO!!!(Talk about Cry Baby!!!)
