BB17 Host Julie Chen Slams Last Night's 'Big Brother' Eviction: 'Ridiculous And Dumb'

During last night’s double-eviction episode, Meg and James were sent to the jury house, with viewers stunned that Steve and Johnny squandered a primo opportunity to split up the twins. Their decision, admits Big Brother host Julie Chen, is one she finds baffling.
“Steve chickened out is the bottom line,” Julie says in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “He looks to Vanessa as a mother figure and she is controlling him. Vanessa really made the big mistake in not using this opportunity to convince Steve and John to vote out Julia and make them think it was their idea. John was just going to do whatever Steve decided so Steve messed up here. Ridiculous and dumb.”
In fact, Julie doesn’t understand why the rest of the Houseguests have yet to take down powerhouse twins Julia and Liz.
“If Vanessa and Austin don’t wake up and smell the espresso and target the twins, it will cost them the game,” she states, but admits that we probably won’t see that happen.
“Austin is smitten,” she explains, “and he will never turn on Liz.”

  1. Splitting the twins up would have been a great idea, but everyone is so scared of the aftermath of those that stay,,Should have taken Austin out when they had the chance and then they also should have taken out Vanessa out when they had he chance, But now that they have waited, they may have waited too long and now it's gonna backfired on those of you who didn't jump on that bandwagon earlier. Vanessa is a great manipulator and I'm afraid she just cost all you other people a half million bucks :)

  2. No mistake on Vanessa's part. Big mistake for everyone else though.
