'Big Brother 19' is quickly drawing nearer and keeping in mind that CBS hasn't officially revealed much about what fans can expect from this summer's show, while some scheduling choices help to reveal that this season might be shorter than the previous couple of years.
We're all aware that Big Brother 19 starts on Wednesday, June 28 (which typically implies the Houseguests(HGs) will move into the house about seven days prior). This is the latest start-date for Big Brother since season 14.
CBS also some time back uncovered its Fall debut plan, demonstrating that Survivor season 35 will start Wednesday, September 27 at 8/7c, trailed by the debuts of SEAL TEAM and CRIMINAL MINDS. Lately the Survivor debut typically airs on the same night as the Big Brother finale, so this is a major change.
While it's not official, But Survivor's debut intensely recommends that Big Brother 19's finale will probably air on Wednesday, September 20th. If that's the case at that point I'd say, the upcoming season will run for about 90 days.
That is one week shorter than the previous three seasons, which ran for 97, 98 and 99 days respectively. This 12-week format, as opposed to the recent 13-week format, makes it similar in length to season 15.
Depending on how many houseguests are on Big Brother 19 and whether they do something like last year where somebody gets expelled in the initial two Episodes, it could reveal to us what's in store as far as evicted HGs returning or the number of double evictions.
While, In the event that we utilize a straightforward math equation to figure out what turns will be coming.
- If someone gets gets ousted in the two-night premiere (like Glenn Garcia last year), that considers - 1
- For each double eviction, that considers - 1
- For each returning player (like Victor Arroyo fighting back last year), that considers +1
- If there are more or less than 16 HGs, add or subtract that number (for example, 17 HGs would be +1)
For a 90-day, 12-week season, the aggregate of those turns must be equivalent -1. So if there's a premiere eviction and one double eviction, there will also be one returning player. On the off chance that nobody goes home in the show's premiere and there's one returning player, there must be two double evictions.
Whatever twists come up, it appears that, after the three longest seasons in the show's history, This summer's season will be trimmed down by one week. Obviously that is as yet two weeks longer than most of the earlier, pre-Big Brother 15 seasons.
