CBS has officially announced when Big Brother 19 starts with a return this summer and that means the countdown is on to your favorite summer obsession this June with three nights a week and our daily coverage coming your way!The new BB19 season isn’t far away as CBS is starting its press announcements and casting is already underway including open call events set to begin this weekend! Planning on enjoying Big Brother from your couch instead? Yeah, me too. Here’s what you need to know to get ready for Big Brother 19!
The Big Brother 19 premiere will arrive on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 starting at 8/7c on CBS with a two hour debut episode. From there we’ll fall in to the regular Big Brother schedule of Sundays & Wednesdays at 8/7c then Thursdays at 9/8c, all with a one hour episode. Sadly I may never get my wish to return to the old Sun/Tu/Th routine.
Unlike last season’s premiere which was billed as a two-night event CBS is presenting the Big Brother 19 as a one-night, two-hour event but of course that’s subject to change and could simply be without the marketing hype this time around. Or maybe they’re ready to mix up how the season starts off and that’d be a welcome change for something new.
No word yet on Big Brother After Dark for BB19, but I’d expect that to be back and likely again on PopTV if you’re lucky enough to get that. And you know there will be Live Feeds! Those should again be part of CBS’s All Access and run you about $6/mo for unlimited viewing. Delightful!
The season starts about a week later than last year (formerly on the 22nd) but I’d expect it to end around the same time in late September, maybe around 9/20/17 and likely paired up with the Survivor 2017 premiere in the fall.
