One of Big brother fans has this to say
Big Brother 18 has not been my favorite season of the show, I'll admit that right off the bat. It took me a long time to get invested into any of this season's players. And as it turns out, one of the players that I liked the least towards the beginning has become my favorite player towards the end. And that player is Paul Abrahamian.
In the beginning of this season, Paul was definitely not my favorite. A large reason for that is because he was aligned with the self-proclaimed Messiah, Jozea. When he was working with Jozea, he was cocky and obnoxious. He was targeting the BB veterans in an annoying way. And he wasn't stealing my, or America's, heart.
But then as time progressed and his alliance changed, Paul became a favorite of mine and America's. He started to play the game. He became a pawn multiple times. His catch phrases caught on. And his observation skills began to pay off.
Paul reminds me a lot of Johnny Mac from BB17 in the sense of his fun, loud, and intelligent personality and game play. Although being a pawn is a very dangerous role, both Johnny Mac and Paul managed to survive for long periods of time. Unlike other housemates they played against, neither Paul or Johnny sat back to float their way through the season. Instead, they took risks. They convinced players on which game moves to make, or to work with them (for instance Shelley and Clay from BB17 and Nicole and Corey in BB18). Johnny Mac should have won his season, but unfortunately he didn't. Let's at least get the right winner for Paul's season.
Paul brings entertainment to the show. Friendship has become a common motif throughout BB18. Paul puts laughter and smiles onto the faces of his fans and supporters whenever he drops his favorite phrases. One of my favorite moments from this season so far has been the Zingbot's zing for Paul. After recognizing Paul's many catch phrases -- Friendship, Pissed, Your Boy -- Zingbot offers a new phrase that "all of America will get behind....Shut the F*** Up!"
By the time the Zingbot zinged Paul, I was a huge fan of his. In the beginning of the season I would've agreed with the Zingbot, however now I can really enjoy the zing and laugh about it. That was a great roast, you have to admit it.
Paul calls people out when they're in the wrong. Yes, this is a dangerous part of his game, but clearly it's working for him (unlike Michelle and Tiffany).
Paul is also very loyal and keeps his word. He has been allies with Victor for a very long time, and even though his bond was tight with his best friend in the house, he didn't risk his own game by enlightening Victor with information about him being the target. Granted, he did try to protect Victor with hints. And since Victor came back from his evictions, Paul has always had Vic's back.
Your boy Paul is clearly the cleverest player in the Big Brother house, because he's the person who figured out about the secret room. And because he's the player who chose the correct ticket (the only round-trip ticket) from the options to choose from.
And when Paul realized that his alliance with Paulie was not beneficial to his game, he assisted in getting rid of his friend. Because if Paulie was the only one benefiting from the friendship, why stay involved?
Here's to hoping that on September 21, Paul is voted as the winner of Big Brother 18. He deserves it the most (with Victor as a close 2nd place)
