I know a couple of things might have made news last night like the jurors coming back to the house with tough faces as if they had cancelled their picnic, Paulie mentioning to Victor that the girls (Zakiyah, Da'Vonne and Bridgette) are not talking to her and Victor being evicted but given the third chance to play the game!Oh, not forgetting Natalie and Michelle's wasted HOH as their target bounced right back to them! Those are some good talking points but I'll skip them and head straight to the Mom's letter issue.
For those(with Live feeds) who had a chance to watch the Endurance HOH comp last night after Victor's attempted eviction, you saw how hard the comp was and how much HGs badly wanted to win it- though some didn't give it the fight it was worth.
The real battle was between Nicole and James in the last 30 minutes after hitting 2hrs! The two Houseguests started to bargain with each telling the other that they are safe with the partner.(Nicole/Corey or James/Natalie). It took some good time for the parties to come to conclusion.
All Nicole wanted was a letter from her mother yet James wanted to get off slop and to also win his fourth Wall comp. He wanted to be the King of the wall comps. Nicole had to twist, plead and beg James to just let her receive that letter even if it meant him doing the Nominations instead of her! She literally gave him her Hoh responsibilities right infront of everyone.
Well, James with the respect for moms and as a gentleman he wanted to be, He let it go, dropped and .......Bingo, Nicole was the new Hoh!!! Even though, it was a very big risk, James had to put all his trust in Nicole that he and Natalie are safe for another week.
Do I need to take you back slightly a few hours before the live eviction? Yes, The house- Nicorey as organised by Paul and Victor had ganged up against James and Production which almost had us think that James was going to flip the Vote and send Corey packing.
Now, after Nicole had settled with her excitement, she came back to her senses that she wanted James out! She was heard telling her boo, Corey that she regrets making the deal with James as it's going to make it hard for her to get back." I should have beaten him, all I had was to hang on a lil longer instead of making that deal," Nicole said.
All this happened after Paul went and told Nicole to count on them (Paul and Victor) next week when she won't be able to play in the Hoh comp. They'll keep her and Corey safe. However, to do this the catch is putting James and Natalie on the block and send James packing.Basing on Nicole's reaction, it looked like she bought every single thing that came out of Paul's mouth thus the confusion.
On the other side of the story, James and Natalie were putting all their hopes in Nicole that they kept them safe this week, they have thrown one of the most important Hohs for them, so the only way they can pay them is by NOT putting them up on the block. However, they know that this is Big brother, deals are made and broken.
As the some part of America might mourn for James when he and Natalie get nominated, I will be singing "karma is a b$tch", because that's what James did to Bridgette and Frank right after he promised them safety.
On the same note, Paul was heard telling Victor to try very hard and convince Nicole to put up James and Natalie as the jurors asked him. He said that the jurors didn't last on the endurance comp because they wanted him(Paul) or Victor to win, target James and eventually get him out. He says that the jury is worried that James and Natalie are strong together so they need to split them and this is the biggest shot they have at it.
It was also heard that Nicole won't put Paul because he's the one who encouraged her to push on and besides, he wants to help her and Corey next week in case of a Double Eviction! She adds that she doesn't trust James because he cut the same kind of deal with Shelli last season and he burned her.
Would it be a smart move for Nicole to go against her word and put James and Natalie on the block? Share your thoughts with us.
