With only seven Houseguests left it doesn’t take much to shift the game and this time around James is in the power position of deciding who will stay and who will go. We’ll have to see how well he can handling hiding the switchback ahead as he’s promised both sides his vote and their safety.

Big Brother 18 Live Feed Highlights – Saturday, August 20, 2016:
7:55 AM BBT – Feeds return from the Have-Not reveal. The HNs are eating pie since that was the theme of the carnival comp that decided who would be sleeping in bumper cars this week. James, Victor, and Michelle drew the short straws there but Michelle is exempted as the Co-HoH this week.
8:00 AM BBT – HGs go back to bed. Paul and Michelle continue to study and recite details from the overnight “storm warnings.”
9:30 AM BBT – Veto players were picked. James and Corey will join the others. Nicole will host.
11:30 AM BBT – Natalie is up and getting ready for the day. Other HGs are sleeping.
12:15 PM BBT – James is awake and chatting with Natalie. They’re annoyed with Paul for his dominating behavior last night.
12:25 PM BBT – James is talking up Corey. He says if Paul wins the Veto then that’ll be the end for Victor. James suggests Corey wouldn’t put them on the Block. Natalie is growing concerned over the idea of going after Corey instead of getting Paul out.
1:20 PM BBT – Natalie and James start up a long cycle of loops discussing whether or not to target Paul or Corey this week. Natalie is back to thinking Paul needs to go as James encourages this thinking. He does not wantn to vote Corey out.
1:40 PM BBT – Natalie tells James she’ll save Victor if she wins the Veto then adds it wouldn’t be so bad if Paul stayed.
1:50 PM BBT – James says Victor and Paul are a huge threat to their game. Natalie begins repeating “Paul needs to go” over and over. James says if Victor comes down and Corey goes up he’s still going to vote Paul out. I’d wager this has been James’s plan for awhile now.
2:23 PM BBT – Feeds cut as James and Natalie continue on seemingly endless loops saying the same thing over and over. Paul is their current pick to go. He’ll need to win this Veto himself if he hopes to stay this week.
7:04 PM BBT – Feeds return. Paul won the Veto!
7:10 PM BBT – Victor upstairs tells the HoH room this should be a smooth week now with Corey going. Downstairs Corey is telling Nicole this is great for them since Victor will be voted out over either of them.
7:15 PM BBT – Victor reminds James he is the pivot vote and will need to vote along with Paul to evict Corey. James looks anything but thrilled. (James is not planning to do that.)
7:20 PM BBT – James tells Natalie that with Victor gone Paul will be isolated since he won’t work with Corey and Nicole.
7:25 PM BBT – Michelle tells James, Natalie, and Paul that she really wants Nicole out this week. Natalie says they’ll do whatever she wants. Paths are about to diverge as Paul and Victor make plans in one direction as James and Natalie have ideas of their own for this week.
7:30 PM BBT – Paul tells Victor they need to try and get James out next week. He thinks they’ll have an easy time taking out Natalie, Michelle, and Nicole in comps.
7:35 PM BBT – Paul questions James over why it didn’t look like Corey was trying very hard. He suggests it seems like Corey thinks he must be safe going up against either Victor or Paul.
7:45 PM BBT – Natalie tells James she doesn’t want Nicole out (after telling Michelle yes to that plan). James says it’s too deep in the game to be making moves for other HGs. Natalie wants Victor to go. James agrees to that and says he’s the deciding vote.
7:50 PM BBT – James announces to the room that they’ll just have to go with Plan B now. Paul pauses and reminds James, “Plan A.” James has been stumbling over himself since the Veto comp making strange renom scenario suggestions that don’t match up with the group plans or the right target. It’s similar to his flub where he told Day Bridgette would be the next week’s target.
8:10 PM BBT – James and Natalie continue to discuss the situation upstairs. They want Victor to go. Downstairs Paul, Victor, and Michelle discuss things and agree to get Corey out.
8:30 PM BBT – Natalie promises James she will never take a girl over James to the end.
8:45 PM BBT – James tells Nicole he’s going to pretend like he’s upset with her and Corey for the rest of the week.
9:05 PM BBT – Natalie and James promise Corey and Nicole that they’re safe this week and won’t evict either of them.
10:00 PM BBT – Michelle really wants to put up Nicole and send her out. Paul is pushing for Corey instead. He’s arguing that with Corey gone the ACP is guaranteed to go to either Victor or Paul since they’re the only ones who have not received one.
10:30 PM BBT – James hopes there won’t be anymore returning players or Double Evictions since they’re so close to the end already.
11:30 PM BBT – Michelle, Paul, and Victor hanging out and talking. They discuss Paulie’s obsession with Cody and Derrick and are glad they don’t have to hear about that anymore.
11:50 PM BBT – Victor mentions getting to be an extra in several movies including one with Miley Cyrus and another with Billy Bob Thornton.
12:30 AM BBT – Most HGs have gone to bed.
1:30 AM BBT – Victor is up and in the backyard. He’s camtalking saying he’s nervous but trying to stay positive.
2:00 AM BBT – Victor continues to work out and talk to the camera. He’s nervous that there could be another returning player.
2:15 AM BBT – Victor says he’s enjoying being around Michelle and wants her to go to F3 with him and Paul. He knows they’ll have to take the shot at James and Natalie.
3:00 AM BBT – Victor has been avoiding sleep in the bumper car but is finally done with the day and turns in. He was the last HG up.
What a day that turned out to be with Paul’s game on the line and pulling off the win, but now just as we suspected James is planning to go against keeping Victor in favor of Corey. That puts us on the track to see Nicole and Corey remaining together while Paul and Victor get split up. At least for a little while. Another HG is coming back on Thursday night and it could end up being Victor if he is voted out then wins this next Battle Back comp.
