Big Brother Season 18 All- Star Cast Gets Cut From 30 to 14: Here’s What We Know!

Big Brother Season 18 is officially underway with auditions now open for potential candidates.

CBS has confirmed the series return this summer as part of a double renewal and online applications are available. According to the official announcement via the official casting site:

“We are now accepting applications for Summer 2016.

Although no application deadline has been set, we do encourage people to apply as early as possible.

As always, our team will be traveling the country again this year searching for great game players. Please check back soon for open calls and events in a city near you.”

As the casting call states, the submission deadline is set for April 2nd and those interested must check the eligibility requirements in order to be considered.

As a reminder, interested applicants can only choose one way to launch their application, either online or come to the open call.

With CBS still collecting applications, Design & Trend reports that candidates who passed the first phase of screening have begun attending open casting calls last month.

In order to find the final 14 who will enter the Big Brother House, there will be a total of 30 contestants that will be narrowed down to more than half for the final season contestants.

Big Brother Season 18

As a change from the traditional reality mechanics, there are rumors circulating that the season will be called, Big Brother All Stars 2. This would most likely mix regular housemates with big names from entertainment or sports, reports the outlet.

Big Brother US season 18 has a set premiere day set for June  2016 and will conclude sometime in September.
