Celebrity Big Brother winner Charlotte Crosby facing drink-drive charge

Reality TV star Charlotte Crosby is due to appear in court charged with drink-driving.

The 25-year-old former Celebrity Big Brother winner and Geordie Shore cast member, from Shiney Row near Sunderland, was arrested in Newcastle.

Northumbria Police said Crosby, who has 2.7 million Twitter followers, was charged with driving a vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit on January 28.

She will appear at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court from 10am.

Crosby has starred in the MTV show Geordie Shore for the past five years.

She won Celebrity Big Brother in 2013 and has released popular fitness DVDs titled 3 Minute Belly Blitz and 3 Minute Bum Blitz.
