Stephanie Davis gets a very emotional phone call in the Celebrity Big Brother House.
As part of a task housemates have to answer ringing phones around the house and guess who is on the other end. The housemate they are calling for will then get a limited amount of time to speak to that person, but have to be careful not to use up their minutes or they fail the task.
Various family members and friends ring up, including Darren Day’s wife and John Partridge’s sister.
But Steph has a particularly tough phone call to deal with. And it’s not from who you think – sorry to anyone who was hoping for a bit of drama.
When the former Hollyoaks star answers the phone to her dad she immediately bursts into tears and sinks to the floor.
Asking him if he’s proud of her, he says: ‘You’ve made us so proud. We’re missing you so much you know.
‘You’ve made us laugh, you’ve made us cry, honestly you’ve been boss. We know you’ve had decisions to make but that’s life babe and we all have to go through that.'
‘What you need to do is give your head a wobble and stay in the Big Brother House on that journey until the very end, you’re doing fantastic.’
He did have a warning for her though: ‘Just don’t forget who you are, where you come from and try and keep your dignity at all times. There’s no secrets in that house!’
Seeing she was in floods of tears, Jeremy McConnell came over to give her a much-needed hug.
