When it comes to people with BIG personalities, you can’t get much bigger than Fatman Scoop.
The American hype man stole the limelight at the MOBOs after-party this week when he got on the decks to play his remix of Faith Evan’s hit Love Like This – singing along at his own part.
We caught up with the Celebrity Big Brother star to ask his thoughts on Kanye West’s and Lindsay Lohan’s 2020 presidency bids. He tells us: “Kanye isn't going to make a president, Lindsay Lohan isn't going to be president. If I saw Kanye I'd say, ‘Yo Kanye, sit your ass down, you know you ain't going to be president’, but if he wants to do that to make himself feel good then let him do it."
Instead of running for presidency, Fatman Scoop enjoys the simple things in life – he got the train to Leeds for the MOBOs, and we spotted him grabbing lunch in M&S at the station. He hollered, “Where’s my driver?” while struggled to carry his shopping, a book, his backpack and his foot support.
And we did think about offering a hand…
He’s not such a big spender, racking up just £10.50 in the store and putting it on his credit card.
Fatman Scoop told us being in the UK makes him feel good. He told us: “I love to watch the rain. I’m a big Domino’s fan but I don’t eat meat so I can’t go to Nandos or I would. There’s an Italian I used to go to in Soho but since I’ve lost three stone I don’t go there that much. Instead I hang out in High Holborn and have TV meetings.”
It might not be so hip-hop but he tells us he’s got things happening.
He adds: “I plan to make myself a fixture in Britain because I love the people and I love the weather. The shows will be comedic and will feature some of my celebrity mates.”
We. Can’t. Wait.
