‘Big Brother US’ Season 17 Houseguests Reunite in Las Vegas for Halloween Celebration

They may have been competitors inside the Big Brother house during Season 17 of “Big Brother US” but the friendship and bond that they have shared during their stint certainly was beyond the reality show.

At least six former houseguests of Big Brother recently had a reunion in Las Vegas to celebrate Halloween together. The party actually includes big winner Steve Moses and runner-up Vanessa Rousso, who came to the party with her girlfriend Mel, details Design & Trend.

It seems that it was Vanessa who spearheaded the reunion of the “Big Brother US” Season 17 alum as she was the one who is based in Las Vegas.

A few days before the Halloween, Vanessa also tweeted that she was really excited and can hardly wait for the visit of her fellow cast mates in “Big Brother US.”

On October 28, four female former houseguests of “Big Brother US” Season 17 were spotted having lunch at Sin City. Vanessa and her girlfriend were joined by Shelli Poole, Jackie Ibarra, and Audrey Middleton.

The following day, the group were joined by Jason Roy and Steve Moses to celebrate Halloween too.

Meg Maley wanted to join the group but she was constrained by a prior commitment so she just settled with catching up with her fellow “Big Brother US” alum through FaceTime.

Not the first get-together

The Halloween get-together of former cast members of “Big Brother US” Season 17 in Las Vegas is not the first reunion of the group after the series finale that was aired on CBS on September 23.

There have been occasional get-togethers and hanging outs but not involving all of the 17 former houseguests but in groups of four to six. The Halloween reunion in Las Vegas is in fact the biggest in terms of number of former cast members of “Big Brother US.”

Just recently, Meg Maley, James Huling, Clay Honeycutt, and Jackie Ibarra spent their vacation in Texas.

A few days earlier, Austin Matelson, Liz and Julia Nolan, also paid a visit to Vanessa Rousso in Las Vegas.

Guesting on daytime soap

Meanwhile, Meg Maley, James Huling, and John McGuire have been taken on as guest for the Halloween episode of the daytime soap “The Bold and the Beautiful” also on CBS, details Design & Trend in another report.

The three actually dressed up in Halloween costumes during the episode of the soap for the Forrester Creations Halloween celebration.

A photo released by CBS to highlight the guesting on the soap by the three “Big Brother US” Season 17 alum shows Maley wearing a blue dress and pearl necklace. McGuire, on the other hand, was wearing black shirt and pants. Huling wore a camouflaged-inspired Halloween costume.

As both “Big Brother US” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” are network shows, CBS has been inviting alums or former contestants of the reality show to make cameo appearances on some episodes of the daytime soap.

Just recently, Jason Roy made a cameo appearance on the daytime soap as a pizza delivery man. But his appearance lasted in less than 30 seconds. The good news for him is that he was able to act out in a scene where he delivered a pizza and the door was opened by Ivy wearing only her skimpy lingerie.

As such, Roy quipped ‘Oh my ‘lanta, pizza?’ Ivy got the pizza from him and paid him $20 and closed the door and that was it for the former houseguest. His favorite expression while at the Big Brother house was ‘Oh my ‘lanta.’

Meanwhile, Steve Moses, the big winner of Season 17 of “Big Brother US,” has spewed a mouthful against Amanda Zuckerman, a notorious houseguest during Season 15 of “Big Brother US.”

Amanda became critically unpopular for her show romance with McCrae Olson and caused a controversy within the Big Brother house for her threatening comments made to other houseguests, earning her the distinction of being a bully.

In a recent interview during the podcast Reality Recaps moments after becoming the big winner of “Big Brother US” Season 17, Steve once again slammed Amanda, which was just a reiteration of his swipe to the former houseguest while he was still inside the Big Brother house.

While inside the Big Brother house as one of the 17 houseguests, Steve likes to talk a lot about the underhand strategy of Amanda Zuckerman, particularly against Dan Gheesling. Gheesling is the big winner of “Big Brother US” Season 10, and the runner up of “Big Brother US” Season 14. He was not in the final 2 during the subsequent season of the reality TV show.

But fans of “Big Brother US” were dismayed with the rantings of Steve on Amanda because they believe that the whole thing is a game so being a bully during her stint at the Big Brother house was just a gameplay strategy on the part the former houseguest.

During the interview, Steve contends that Amanda being a bully was more than a game strategy for her. He says that she often lashed out at people and it was not meant to advance herself in the game.

He added that Dan Gheesling was a brilliant player. Steve said that while Dan was also a bully at times but only to get further in the game and that the houseguest played the best game in each of his seasons with “Big Brother US.”
