'Big Brother 17' Winner Steve Explains Why He ‘Hates’ Becky, Talks Vanessa

"Big Brother US" season 17 winner Steve Moses recently revealed his thoughts on why audiences believed he hated fellow houseguest Becky.

In an interview with Your Reality Recaps, Moses clarified that what was shown on television was blown out of proportion.

He explained that he didn't really hate Becky, but he also didn't like it when she kept on comparing him to former houseguest Ian.

According to Steve, Becky saying that again and again in the Big Brother house could have made him a huge target very early on in the competition.

Additionally, the $500,000 winner said that he didn't like talking to Becky much because she wasn't open to working with him throughout the entire competition.

Meanwhile, Steve also talked about her biggest competition this season. Vanessa and Steve may have aligned their games with one another, but fans of "Big Brother US" season 17 all knew that they didn't really have each other's back.

Although Steve may have acknowledged that Vanessa played a very good game this season, he believes that towards the end, he was the one who stepped up and eventually won.

The college student from New York City added that everyone surrounding her mom in the audience on finale night congratulated her even before Steve was announced as this season's winner.

This was also one of the reasons why he didn't have any doubt in his mind that he would win.

In an interview with TV Guide, Steve said that he didn't really expect that he would win when he first auditioned to be part of the show.

After he received a call, he didn't expect to enter the house, and after he entered the house, he expected to be voted off during the first week of the competition.

"Big Brother US" season 18 will air on CBS next summer.
