Vanessa Rousso recently opened up about her 98-day stint in the house.
In an interview with Card Player, the professional poker player said that she's happy even if she didn't win $500,000, or $50,000 as a second-placer.
According to her, thousands of fans received her well when she left the Big Brother house.
She added that some of the other houseguests' fans even said that she deserved to win over Steve Moses.
"It was an unbelievable challenge, and even though I didn't win I still look at it in a positive light because I had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I learned a lot about myself," she said.
Meanwhile, throughout her stay in the house last summer, Vanessa told her fellow houseguests that she works as a professional DJ.
She deliberately decided to not tell them that she works as a professional poker player because she knows she would have been booted off immediately.
Vanessa added that a lot of people don't really trust poker players because they are automatically judged to be good liars.
"If they had known I was a poker player, essentially a trained bluffer, I wouldn't have made it as far in the game. I would have been a much bigger target earlier on, and being a DJ, in their minds, was someone they wanted to trust a lot more..." she explained.
In other news, Vanessa previously said that she's over Steve's win because she respects his final game move on "Big Brother US."
During the finale episode, Steve was tasked to choose between Vanessa or Liz Nolan, and he chose to bring the latter with him to the final 2.
In an interview with TV Guide, Vanessa said that Steve made a wise decision because if he had brought her, there's a huge chance he would have lost.
"Big Brother US" is currently in search for new houseguests for season 18.
