"Big Brother US" season 17 house guest Vanessa recently manipulated both sides of the house to ensure her safety in the game.
After Austin won the Power of Veto (POV), he strategically decided to save himself and leave Liz on the block.
This meant that Steve had to choose one houseguest to nominate for eviction. Since Steve has aligned his game with Vanessa and Johnny Mac, he was left with no choice but to put Julia up.
Now, the houseguests are contemplating on which of the two girls should stay in the competition.
All of them know that Liz is a much stronger player than her twin sister. However, keeping Liz in the game only means that Vanessa, Steve and Johnny Mac's plan to backdoor "Austwins" will be in danger.
Meanwhile, Vanessa started talking and making deals with both groups in the Big Brother house.
At first, she talked to Johnny Mac about her plans in case she wins Head of Household (HOH) on Thursday night.
According to Vanessa, she will put Steve up as a replacement nominee. She then asked Johnny Mac what would be the best game move for the both of them because she wants to take him to the finals.
Vanessa also spoke with Austin, who she has been aligned with since the start of the season. She then tried to make a deal with Austin.
Vanessa said she will vote to keep Liz in the game if he promises to put Johnny Mac and Steve up for eviction next week.
Vanessa also made her two other deals known to Liz and Austin. She said that if Liz stays, Austin and her girlfriend will save her in case they win POV.
She added that she also wants to have the power to decide on whether Steve or Johnny Mac will leave if they remain on the block next week.
